One new California Auxiliarist’s first training mission included a response to downed aircraft. She was invited along as a trainee on the same day she was sworn in as a member of the Auxiliary. - Tiny Tots Marina
A Carson City, NV Flotilla came up with a unique method of teaching and promoting life preserver safety to youngsters. The children could operate remote control boats while wearing a life vest. The parents would help the children with putting on the vest and as such, involved the family in life vest safety. This would be reinforced by Auxiliary members that would discuss aspects of boating safety. Take a look at this novel approach, you might choose to use it and “liven” up your static safe boating display, now on SITREP, the Auxiliary’s National e-magazine.
